Any physician, consultant, or practitioner who practices cannabis therapies or methodologies. Also who has attended the Cannabis Holistic Institute, completing the course portfolio, and practicum, both corrected and looked over by the board.
Most organizations charge an annual fee, does the AADP?
There is a one-time board certification and application fee of $1420. A Board Certificate will be issued at that time.
Once I’m a member, do you charge for consultations on how I can increase my existing practice?
No, you can email or call us with practice-building questions at no charge.
Can you help me find professional liability insurance?
Yes, as a Board Certified Practitioner, we can give you an insurance company referral.
My wife & I are practitioners, can we get a discount on the certification fee?
Yes, if two or more people in the same office join. Call us for details.
Can practitioners outside of the United States apply for certification?
Yes, the Cannabis Holistic Institute is an international educational program and is made up of cannabis practitioners located throughout the world.
Can you help me with office forms?
Yes, as a graduate of the Cannabis Holistic Institute, you can contact the teachers, founder, or your advisor for help through every step of this process. We can send you samples of office forms, disclosure letters, and press kits & advertising ideas.
Do I need to graduate from the Cannabis Holistic Institute to be eligible to join?
Yes, we recognize all educational institutions, however, the Cannabis Holistic Institute is the preferred school for ongoing medical education. Once we receive your application and documentation we will contact you if we have questions.
How long does it take to complete the process of evaluation to be approved?
It normally takes up to 3 months. If we have questions, we will advise.
What will I need for the certification process?
A certified consultant will need their corrected portfolio and practicum in PDF for upload. The student will be required to submit an entry form or essay on why this is the direction they are choosing to go in their cannabis career.
